lino is an accessible, gratifying form of printing. you will use a variety of tools to carve into a plate of linoleum. learn to lino print using your own designs or be inspired by many still lives and ideas in armi's studio. You can get great results with limited expertise.

this workshop will show you how to:

  • how to select suitable images and reference materials

  • transfer your design onto the lino

  • use cutting tools safely

  • cut a variety of marks and textures

  • ink up correctly

  • hand print from your lino

further ongoing open workshop days or a short course will show how to register your print for multi-colour printing and reduction print process. further ongoing open workshop days provide one-to-one tuition, use of the space and specialist equipment.

all workshops min 4, max 8 people

short courses  between 2 - 6 sessions, from 10.30 - 1pm this includes tea/coffee/cake plus all materials   cost £30pp per session
